Salary: £45k-£55k plus potential bonus upto £30k

My client is a leading data services provider within the Marketing and Fraud Arenas. Due to their unprecedented growth they currently have a vacancy for an experienced Account Director to join their expanding team based in Merseyside.

Main Accountabilities are:

External
•Acts as primary point-of-contact for key client accounts and internally as voice of the customer.
•Proactively find new ways to build the client’s business and grow accounts
•Master and maintain (and share internally) a thorough knowledge of client’s business
•Own the strategic relationship with senior clients across Marketing and Fraud services in addition to helping the team to manage the operational challenges
•Development and maintenance of Account Plans for clients
•Manage client budget and billing process
•Drive the account agenda for going beyond what is asked for by clients
•Development and maintenance of Account Plans for key accounts
•Negotiating client contracts, service levels and pricing structures as required
•To undertake regular external review meetings with clients (Service Level Review and Strategic Planning Sessions)
•To provide input to clients at a strategic level, using insight or input from the insight team

Internal
•Providing accurate revenue forecasts and budgets (circa £1 million)
•Lead day-to-day management of any client deliverables
•Initiate and manage any client development and analytical projects ensuring all requirements are gathered and understood by each component department
•Maintain a working knowledge of each area of the company Product/Service offering to effectively identify/scope projects and evaluate internal delivery team recommendations against the client needs
•Show confidence and ability to identify, propose and develop internal changes deemed necessary to initiate efficiency gains
•To lead the cross functional team to oversee the delivery of correct and complete client work, on time, on budget (first time every time)
•Act as a role model to the wider commercial function and demonstrating the company values.

Skills and Experience
•A graduate with strong experience of working with 5+ years working in a Client Management role preferably in a direct marketing/CRM agency or Fraud Services environment
•Strong influencer, negotiator, relationship builder
•Strong commercial acumen and experience of managing significant budgets, with a focus on profitability
•Experience of managing and growing key client accounts
•Strong experience and working knowledge of database management/marketing
•Demonstrable understanding of campaign software and analytics (preferably IBM EMM Suite (Unica/Coremetrics) or Apteco)

Or
•Strong Experience/Understanding of the Anti-fraud market.
•Day-to-day client management experience
•Strong project management skills
•Experience of managing financials across multiple client accounts
•Extremely organized and highly motivated
•Excellent verbal/written communication skills
•Experience giving presentations to clients
•Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
